N-K Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1995 in response to customer demand for injection molding capabilities at its parent company, Nicholas Plastics. N-K Manufacturing makes a broad range of components for the automotive, office furniture, consumer goods, appliances, construction and other industries.

N-K Manufacturing was created by the Nicholas and Kassouni families to broaden existing capabilities in order to support the growing requirements of their customers. They launched operations with two presses and four employees in a 9,000 square-foot facility and have grown to more than 100 employees working in a 75,000 square-foot plant.

The company initially supplied the automotive and office furniture industries.
Today, N-K Manufacturing specializes in niche technologies such as vertical insert molding, two-shot and multi-shot molding, and overmolding processes that promote the conversion of traditional metal components to plastic and improve the ease of assembly.

Their Grand Rapids manufacturing facility is supported with a research, development and sales team working in a technology center in Metro Detroit.
