Trumpler International represents one of the world leaders in leather chemicals. As such they offer technologies for all beamhouse and dyehouse processes.
Their range of products extends from soaking and liming agents, bactericides and fungicides, syntans and dyestuffs through to a comprehensive range of fatliquors, hydrophobing agents and leather-making auxiliaries. In 1880, permission to build a new degras factory in the Hafenstrasse was granted. With the beginning of industrialization the use of auxiliary agents for leather-making became more and more interesting. In 1958, Dr. Günther Roos became a personally liable partner and managing director. The production of artificial degras needed to be replaced by new products which suited the requirements of new technical developments in tanneries. Dr. Roos developed synthetic fatliquors - some of which are still included in their present product range. Through the years Trumpler established a global network of subsidiaries which today comprises 12 independant branches.
