The Zoller company was founded by
Alfred Zoller in 1945, and is today in its third generation, with 140
employees and annual sales of over 25 million euros. The
series-production of presetting and measuring devices began in 1968.
The essential components of ZOLLER measuring devices are designed
in-house and manufactured in Germany. All the other components that
determine quality are bought in from the world’s best
manufacturers and monitored fastidiously during assembly. The ZOLLER
company is of course certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001,
14001 and VDA 6, point-4. All the workstations in the office and on
the factory floor work without paper, using document management, as
part of a modern network. Just-in-time procurement of components is
based on an efficient, in-house developed Kanban system. There is
hardly a single tool today that cannot be fully automatically
measured and precisely preset, using ZOLLER measuring devices. New
tools or clamping technology are of course included in the ZOLLER
database in no time at all and implemented for the user by means of
software updates, adaptation of equipment or new developments.
